600 kilograms of cannabis seized by DRI

Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Dec 04 (ANI): Directorate of Revenue Intelligence has seized 600 kilograms of cannabis from a goods carriage near Visakhapatnam’s Narsipatnam town on Sunday. Acting on a tip off that illegal drugs were being transported, the DRI launched a search operation following which the vehicle was caught. The recovered cannabis is worth over 60 lakhs and the vehicle was going to Warangal from Paderu. The driver of the vehicle has been apprehended and the further investigation is on.
