One arrest made at Sydney CBD anti-racism protest
One person has been taken into custody after police moved on protesters in Sydney’s CBD after giving the crowd a final warning to leave the area.
The second Black Lives Matter protest attracted a far smaller crowd than the first rally.
Police will now turn their focus to Saturday’s Refugee Rights Rally, which has been ruled unlawful by the NSW Supreme Court due to the risk of COVID-19.
Organisers of the rally have said they will go ahead in defiance of the Court ruling.
