Easier than marijuana, safer than marijuana, more medical, more recreation, is it possible?
Some plants contain essential oils which have a weak Pro-cannabinoid activity. These substances suggest that as a light-cannabinoid can be used synthetic terpenes with small molecular weight. Thus there is a possibility to obtain medicines more easier than marijuana, safer than cannabinol and with desired properties for different purposes. Such drugs can drastically affect a growing market. They may be the best candidates for legalization, more suitable for this purpose even more than marijuana.
Substances having a mild pro-cannabinoid effect are found in black pepper, thyme, some types of echinacea, possibly in wormwood and many others. Caryophyllene, thujone and thujol and some other substances are very distant structurally from the nature of cannabinoids, but still have quite palpable activity. To obtain a worthy competitor marijuana, it is probably enough to develop a drug with better qualities of endogenous cannabinoids. The molecular weight of such preparations will be even less than cannabinol, and the radicals of the chemical structure will be smoothed out. So we get a synthetic essential oil which not found in nature. By in supplementing nature with the best substances, we will make a breakthrough in a new direction. If the project gets support and is implemented, then legalization will become inevitable all over the world. In with safer and quality drugs, supporters of legalization will be many times greater, and the positive impact will be at a new height, at the highest possible for these drugs.
