Mississippi’s bi-partisan legislature states that it is in favor of making cannabis legal and will be holding a special session in August.

Earl Blumenaur (Democrat, Oregon) and Tom McClintock (Republican, California) cooperated to make a Federal Bill that would make it so the Federal Government would not be allowed to interfere with states that have legal cannabis laws, be it recreational or medicinal.

Cannabis Administration Opportunity Act 2021 newest update states that proponents of the bill are speaking with other members of congress to see if they would vote yes or no on the bill, and if there was anything that they would change about the bill to make it so they would be more likely to approve the bill.
