First up: In a report by PRNewswire, Liberty Health Sciences has announced the opening of the first Liberty dispensary in Florida’s St. Johns County.
“Spanning 5,676 square feet of retail space, the new store offers a range of medical and wellness products including vaporizer pens, pre-rolls, oils, capsules, edibles, topical creams, concentrates, distillates and more,” Liberty said in a press release. “ The dispensary is conveniently located… adjacent to one of Florida’s most expansive and popular beaches, St. Augustine Beach.”

And next: PRNewswire reports that cannabis lifestyle company From The Earth (FTE) has entered a licensing agreement with the California-based licensee, ACES LA Inc.
“Since receiving our license last year, we have been searching for a local business partner that has not only demonstrated its financial prowess in this challenging industry but also understands the importance of supporting their community,” said Arrion Jafari, principal of ACES LA Inc. “Entering this agreement with From The Earth was an opportunity that we could not afford to pass up, and we believe this will put us light years ahead of where we would be as a standalone operator.”
According to a press release, under the agreement, “FTE will execute its first complete management takeover at a licensed retail store.” It also “enables ACES LA Inc., one of the city’s social equity license recipients, to gain immediate market exposure through FTE’s vast consumer and advertising network.”

Last up: In a report by ABC News, following the November U.S. election, voters in five states have approved ballot measures legalizing the adult use of either medical or recreational cannabis.
In Arizona and New Jersey, recreational cannabis legalization was approved by voters. In South Dakota, medical cannabis use was approved.
In Mississippi, an initiative to establish a medical cannabis program was approved by voters. And finally, in Montana, voters approved two initiatives to legalize and regulate adult use recreational cannabis.
