Organisers make a last-minute change of location for Sydney CBD protest | ABC News
Organisers have made a last-minute change of location for a protest linked to the Black Lives Matter movement in Sydney’s CBD tonight.
On a social media post, organisers said they had moved the location due to “overwhelming numbers of police” at Sydney Town Hall, the original location planned for tonight’s protest.
Police are following a crowd of about 100 protestors through Hyde Park and more police are being moved to the area.
Police were also seen guarding a Captain Cook statue in Hyde Park.
