Last week we chatted about Israel looking at legalization, this week it’s Mexico passing a bill to legalize. However there are still a lot of issues with the future of legal weed in what would be one of the biggest producing countries in the world when it comes to cannabis. Sales are up in Canada across the board, but there are concerns about home grows taking a bite out of retail. I say it’s all contributing to the industry, and I’m glad more people are growing at home. Once again Conservative wannabe leader Peter MacKay is making stuff up out of the blue. It’s a tired, old tactic that frankly is a dumb look for conservatives. Shouldn’t they want the economic benefits. Someone let me know when MacKay realizes it’s 2020 and not 1930. Finally we discussed how regulations are hurting those who truly want to grow organic and where Canada is in the big picture of legalization.
